Soot Goes Everywhere Air Goes

One interesting fact about fire damage is that soot and debris can travel anywhere that air is able to go.  Soot will get inside drawers that are closed, inside cabinets that are shut, and even through closed doors.  It is not uncommon to even find soot inside of closed cereal boxes!  The home’s air conditioning and heating system even acts as a transport system for soot; carrying the soot from one end of the home to another.  This Huntsville, Texas home experienced a fire and the entire house was covered with soot; there was not a square inch of this home that went untouched and by SERVPRO® of Lake Conroe, Magnolia & Cleveland.  Our Professional Fire Restoration Technicians were able to make this home soot free and livable again.
