Unattended AC Leak

This Lake Conroe area home experienced a leak in the AC unit located in the attic.  Given the just the right conditions mold can grow very rapidly.  The high humidity levels on the lake only add to the aggressive growth rate of mold.  In this picture, the homeowner went out of town on a business trip and did not realize the extent of the damage until they returned.  After an air quality test was performed it was confirmed the home was infested with dangerously high levels of toxic mold.  SERVPRO® of Lake Conroe, Magnolia & Cleveland’s licensed mold technicians were able to clean and dispose of the contaminated building materials and contents.
